On Monday, November 2, 2009, Office of Student Affairs and the Library Academic Resources Center (LARC) organized a workshop on "How to Make Beautiful Kratongs" conducted by A. Chirayoo Dasri, Director of the LARC.
She presented the origin and history of the Loy Kratong Festival to both Thai and International students and taught them how to make Kratongs. In the evening, the university organized a trip for students to join the Loy Kratong Festival at the lake of the Perfect Place Village, Soi Ramkhamheang 164.
