Our Programs
UNDERGRADUATE
The university offers courses in three faculties in as many as eleven majors to choose from. Currently all undergraduate courses are being offered only at the Bangkok campus. The details of the programs can be found at the Undergraduate Program section of this website.
GRADUATE
The university offers Masters Degree courses under the Faculty of Business Administration with four majors to choose from. The details of the programs can be found at the Graduate Program section of this website.
To be eligible for admission into the undergraduate program at STIU, the prospective student is required to possess:
High School Completion Certificate (any one of the following):
- M.6 or Grade 12 or its equivalent from any accredited Thai or foreign institution.
- GCSE or GCE "O" level with not less than "C" in 5 subjects.
- Test of GENERAL EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (GED) with not less than "C" in 5 subjects.
English Proficiency Test Scores (required for students for whom English is a second language):
- TOEFL: 500 (Computer-based: 187)
- IELTS: 5.0
- SAT: 1000
- Satisfactory result of the STIU English Placement Test
Remarks: Students without the required test score will be advised to join the STEP (Stamford Total English Program) prior to joining the international program.

- A certified copy of the high school diploma (or its equivalent) and transcript. Please make sure that all documents in foreign language are send along with a certified English translation of the same.
- Three photographs (passport size)
- Local Resident I.D. or copy of Passport
- A copy of any English Proficiency Test Score (TOEFL, IELTS, SAT) with required scores.
For students who do not posses TOEFL, IELTS or SAT, the STIU English Placement Test will be provided upon arrival at the campus, for which a nominal test fee will be charged.

After the application has been received, the application will be reviewed and students will be informed of their admission status. This usually takes up to 2 weeks.
A Letter of Acceptance (Conditional) and the Invoice Statement will be issued if the applicant is approved for admission.
The applicant is now required to make the payment of the required fees (mentioned in the Invoice), upon which the acceptance is considered complete.
Following this, the applicant will be issued the Letter of Certification, which is required for the visa application process. (for foreign students only)
Applicants are requested to send the copy of their money transfer receipt by mail or fax it to the Admissions Office.

After you transfer the fee please send a copy of the receipt clearly indicating the name of the student to us through fax or email.
The original receipt must be produced by the student prior to registration.
Before 30 days from the beginning of the term students can get a refund of their fees. A deduction of 30,000 Baht will be applicable.
No refund of fees can be claimed for less than 30 days from the beginning of the term or after the term commences.
The date of receiving the application will be counted as the notification date for both cases.
If due to any reason an international applicant is denied a visa to Thailand, the fee amount paid will be returned minus US $200 (processing charges).
