Pre-arrival Details

Thai Students

Undergraduate students:

Your Letter of Acceptance will mention the date on which the New Student Orientation is expected to be held. Please make arrangements to arrive on campus before the day of orientation. Inform the Office of Admissions well in advance concerning your date and time of arrival. This will help us prepare your room in the residence hall and have it ready when you arrive.

Graduate students

Your Letter of Acceptance will mention the date when classes are scheduled to commence. Please make sure you are on time to attend the classes, especially on the first day.

Guests are not allowed to stay over night at the student residence hall and so if you have family or friends coming with you make sure you inform the Office of Admissions. In such cases, a room can be arranged for your guests at the Palm Lodge, which is situated right opposite the Student Residence Hall and charges minimum rates on a per night basis.

International Students

Regarding Immigration

Before you leave your country of residence make sure that you have obtained a Non-Immigrant 'ED' / 'O' class visa for Thailand.

Traveling details

For international students, please make sure that you have informed the Office of Admissions concerning your arrival details so that someone can be present to receive you at the airport and take you to the residence if you may so require.

Inform the University well in advance about the date and time of your arrival if you wish for the University to arrange transportation for you. This is important not only for the purpose of timely pick-up, but to give us time to prepare your housing so that it's readily available to you upon arrival.

Warning: The laws of Thailand prohibit visitors from bringing drugs or any contraband goods into the country. Violators are severely punished. Take a look at the Thailand Customs Regulations web page for more details on items that you're permitted / not permitted to bring into Thailand.
