SPORTS

Stamford offers a variety of sports that students can enjoy both at leisure levels, and at competitive levels (regional and national). Sports available at the Bangkok campus are tennis, golf, soccer, basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, squash, tae-kwon-do, and aerobics. You can enjoy sports activities on-campus, and at nearby partner facilities.

For golfers, tennis players, and soccer players who wish to compete at regional and national levels, Stamford runs very good programs in training and supporting athletes for high level competition. Currently the golf, soccer, and tennis teams consist of talented Thai and foreign athletes, some of whom are also members of the Thai national teams.

As Stamford has a strong focus on sports development, athletes who wish to compete in other sports (apart from golf, tennis, and soccer) are encouraged to discuss their interests with the Student Affairs officers at the time of enrolmen.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

As an international university, Stamford's student population is well diversified with students from over 30 countries around the world. We place great importance on each and every culture, and we encourage students to share their unique cultural knowledge and heritage with fellow students.

Stamford organizes many enjoyable and festive activities year round to promote cultural awareness and friendship between students. Some of these activities are: International Festival, Loy Kratong Festival, Songkran Festival, Halloween Party, King’s Birthday Celebration, Queen’s Birthday Celebration, Christmas Party, etc.

For each activity, you have the opportunity to contribute ideas and work as part of the organizing team. A truly great experience for all!

STUDENT CLUB

Stamford offers a variety of special interest clubs where students can enjoy and develop their interests, while meeting new friends with similar likings. Students can join the following clubs: Basketball Club, Soccer Club, Badminton Club, Music Club, Art Club, Photo Club, Computer Club, and Outdoor Club.

SGA

The SGA is an important organization that plans and runs student activities. The management team of the SGA is formed through an election process conducted within the student population, and operates under the guidance of the Student Affairs Department.

As Stamford focuses on developing business leaders of the future, students are encouraged to join the SGA to develop leadership, management, and organizational skills. Participation in the SGA can range from running for SGA leadership to working as part of a project team.

Just remember that the more you contribute the more you will achieve!

MUSIC

Stamford encourages students to develop their musical talents and perform in university concerts and festivals. Join our university band or choir where you have many opportunities to perform and let your talents shine!

For those students who like to dance, you can practice new steps in our ballroom and Latin dance classes.
