Hua Hin Campus Student Center opened by Provincial Governor

On the 8th February 2017, Stamford’s Hua Hin campus welcomed Governor Chatporn Ratsadudee, the Governor of Phetchaburi Province, and honorary guest speakers to the opening of the new Student Center.

The Opening Ceremony began with Mr. Pierre Bourgoin, Asst. President of the Phetchaburi Campus, delivering a report on the objectives and development of Student Center. Then, the Governor, President, and Assistant President of Stamford International University, cut the ribbon to mark the formal opening of Student Center.

After the ceremony, Dr Andrew Scown, President of Stamford International University, gave a welcome speech followed by a speech by Governor Chatporn Ratsadudee introducing the “i See 2020” Panel discussion.

As part of the discussion, students, staff, faculty and guests heard a highly insightful talk on “The Important of the network between the educational institution and industries” by Ms. Aree Chotiwong, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries, Phetchaburi Chapter, and alumni of Stamford MBA program.

The Panel Discussion “i See 2020” explored Stamford core “4i” pillars:

  • Integrity by Deputy Secretariat of Chaipattana Foundation
  • Industry by Vice President of Thai Chamber of Commerce
  • International by Dr. Ake, Associate Dean for Innovation and Research, Graduate School, STIU, Asoke Campus
  • Innovation by Knowledge Management Specialist from National Innovation Agency
