Stamford International University Launches Corporate Partnership Program - Stamford International Universityen
November 17th 2015
On the 17th November Stamford launched the Corporate Partnership program in association with more than 20 leading companies including The Mall Group, McCann Worldgroup, THAI Smile Airways, L’Oreal, H&M Thailand, Bangkok Bank and more. The event took place in front of corporate representatives and leaders at our new Asoke Campus. Collaborating to help develop human resources with our corporate partners is one of many ways we are trying to narrow the gap between industry and education.
Gilles Mahe, CEO of Laureate Thailand, said: “A major issue facing modern society is the communication gap between the world of education and the world of business. With the introduction of the corporate partnership program we aim to reconnect these two worlds, which should allow us to better understand the job requirements of tomorrow, and what challenges exist in various industries. This will have a positive impact on our programs as there will be more dynamic, and be better able to change and adapt to industry needs to better serve our students and the industries they will enter.”
Companies that partner with Stamford will receive numerous benefits including usage of campus facilities, corporate training and workshops, co-branded program opportunities and a 10 per cent tuition support fee for individuals and a 15 per cent tuition fee support fee for groups of six and more employees.
