Step-up International Plan for Thai students

Stamford is the first university in Thailand to launch the innovative step-by-step Bilingual Program with an innovative curriculum structure.

Stamford designed the step-by-step Bilingual Program to help Thai students, at any levels of English proficiency, gradually develop their English skills. With Stamford’s progressive learning model, students will step-up with confidence to study and communicate in English.

YEAR 1 :

Students will be taking foundation course in English while taking academic classes in Thai and will take only 1 subject in English this year. Students will get supports from the Thai academic adviser who will assist the students before they ready to take all their academic subjects in English.


YEAR 2 :

Students will begin to take more academic subjects in English, while taking less subjects in Thai. This allows students to gradually practice using English in real situations and using English more professionally in their field of study.


YEAR 3 AND 4 :

From third year onwards until the end of their study, students will have reached the level of English required to study academic courses in English. All the academic subjects will be taught in English. Students are well prepared to use English in their everyday life both inside and outside of classrooms and equip for international careers in the future.
