Dr. Irina Onuyusheva Kazakhstan


Ph.D., University of International Business

Dr. Onyusheva has earned Ph.D. in Economics from the University of International Business (Аlmaty, Kazakhstan) conjunction with George Washington University (Washington DC, USA) and City University London (London, United Kingdom). She is an Associate Professor (MES, RK), a Professor of Regional Academy of Management (RK), a Professor of the Multidisciplinary Russian Academy of Natural History (Moscow, Russia), Corresponding Member of Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan (APSK), Academician of International Informatization Academy (IAI).

She has a rich worldwide teaching and research experience as well as managerial one in the field of higher education. She has internationally certified as a project manager by the IPMA (Level C). She is an active participant of international academic mobility programs in Europe and Asia, national and international scientific conferences, workshops and training activities. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the ‘Polish Journal of Management Studies’ (Scopus, SJR, WoS), as well as other national and international bodies. Her research field and scientific interests include formation, ensuring and increasing economic competitiveness both on micro- and macro- levels; Human Capital development, HR management; Knowledge Economy; Project Management. She is the author of more than 70 research publications, including journals recommended by the Control Committee under the Ministry of Education and Science of the RK; refereed editions indexed in Scopus and Thomson Reuters (ISI Web of Science) databases; in proceedings of international scientific and practical conferences. She is the author of an individual scientific monograph named “Human capital in context of national economic competitiveness: formation factors and development prospects» (2015) awarded as “Best educational edition in economic field” in the framework of the XXVI international book fair of educational publications (Sochi, Russia, October 8-11, 2015), and Gold medal “European Quality” (ESIC, Germany, Russia, April 4, 2016).
