On Tuesday, 24 March 2026, Stamford International University, Phetchaburi Campus, hosted a distinguished forum in celebration of International Women\u2019s Day 2026. The event provided a meaningful platform to share perspectives on the evolving role of women in global leadership, diplomacy, and international cooperation in today\u2019s rapidly changing world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was officially opened by Pol. Lt. Phopchanok Chalanukhro, Governor of Phetchaburi Province. A warm welcome address was delivered by Dr. Apitep Saekow, Acting President of Stamford International University to a distinguished audience of ambassadors, university executives, faculty members, students, and representatives from local government and organizations in Hua Hin and Phetchaburi Province. The event attracted more than 200 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the program was an international panel discussion on the theme: \u201cWomen in Diplomacy and Global Leadership in a Changing World.\u201d The session featured distinguished women ambassadors to Thailand who shared their leadership journeys, diplomatic experiences, and perspectives on advancing women\u2019s roles in global affairs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bampen Maitreesophon, Dean of the Faculty of Public Administration, presented the tourism potential of local communities in Phetchaburi Province. The event also featured cultural performances, including a traditional Thai Song Dam performance, showcasing the rich cultural identity of the local community. In the afternoon, the delegation visited Mrigadayavan Palace, a significant historical landmark, to further explore Thailand\u2019s cultural and historical heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
