We are especially interested in candidates who have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate will value collegiality and service to their department\/institution along with the demonstrated capacity to teach undergraduate courses. At STIU, we value interdisciplinary approach and experiential learning, and therefore, we expect the successful candidate to have a strong inclination towards these.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowledge &amp; Abilities: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they are broadly prepared and have a depth of knowledge in the discipline.
