Position: International Admissions Counselor (Foreign Nationals)

Campus: Rama 9 Campus

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary contact for prospective international students, providing information about academic programs, admission requirements, and application procedures.
  • Communicate with prospective students through various channels, including email, phone calls, and online chat, to address inquiries and assist with application-related issues.
  • Conduct individual consultations with prospective students to understand their academic backgrounds, career goals, and interests, and provide personalized guidance on program selection and application strategies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of international applicants, including participation in recruitment events and activities both domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborate with other university departments to ensure a seamless admissions process for international students, including coordinating document submission, evaluating applications, and facilitating enrollment procedures.
  • Stay informed about changes in immigration policies and procedures relevant to international students and provide updated information and guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in sales, international student recruitment, admissions counseling, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of international education systems, visa regulations, and immigration processes is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
