TEDxSTIUHuaHin 2.0 Contest
Stamford International University is greatly delighted to announce our second TEDx Event; TEDxSTIUHuaHin 2.0 on January 14, 2022 that will take place at Stamford International University, Hua Hin campus.
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where technology, entertainment and design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. It really is a worldwide phenomenon with an audience of millions.
TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local communities around the globe through TEDx events. These events are organized by passionate individuals who seek to uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in their local areas that spark conversations in their communities.
TEDx events are organized independently under a free license granted by TED. Event organizers agree to abide by an established format, and are offered guidelines to ensure the success of the event. More than 3,000 events are now held annually driven by this goal: ‘How can we best spread great ideas?’
TEDxSTIUHuaHin 2.0 on January 14, 2022, will lay a foundation of stepping stones, by giving the opportunity for students and locally engaged spear heads to speak of a better tomorrow, by adapting the young voice in the event we hope to allow them to place the stepping stones for their voice of the road forward. The theme will be a repetition of our previous event “Stepping stones”, as it illustrates the purpose of what we are trying to achieve, to narrow the gaps that divide us and create better understanding between all people.
Now we seek a talented high school speaker to contribute their vision of stepping stones, along with their English competency. If you are interested in this remarkable experience, please do not hesitate to joining.
