Stamford International University welcomed over 70 students from the University of Greenwich Alliance with FPT Vietnam, Danang Campus.

On 1 September 2022, Stamford International University welcomed over 70 students from the University of Greenwich Alliance with FPT Vietnam, Danang Campus.

The event took place at the Rama 9 campus and was organized Ms. Jiao Xu (Lily) and Tien Vo (Iriz) from the International Admissions team.  The students had a campus tour and enjoyed exploring the Stamford facilities. They were amazed to see how Leura restaurant was run so professionally by International Hotel Management students. The studio facilities for Communication Arts students and the Mac Lab for Creative Media Design students were so attractive to them that they did not want to leave!

After the campus tour, students were warmly welcomed by Dr. Apitep Saekow (Acting President) and Dr. William Wall (Assistant President, Asoke Learning Center). The key session of the event was a Workshop delivered by Dr. William. The workshop topic was “Soft Skills & Ethics for Career Growth.” Stamford hopes that the workshop provided Greenwich Vietnam students valuable knowledge about how to improve their communication skills and about how important ethics are in business.

The event was closed by a testimonials session, where Ms. Hao Nguyen, a Communication Arts Student from Stamford, talked about her study experience at Stamford and about experiencing Thai culture while studying at Stamford for three years. Special thanks to Ms. Hao Nguyen, as she had just finished her mid-term exam when she came to the workshop to give the speech to Greenwich Vietnam students.

We look forward to welcoming more students from Vietnam again.
