Stamford International University Welcomed into CFA Institute University Affiliation Program
Stamford International University has become the latest university to be welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program.
The BBA in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance and Banking has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice within the program. This program positions students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, which has become the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world.
Entry into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that the (BBA in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance and Banking curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students to sit for the CFA examinations. Through participation in this program, Stamford International University is eligible to receive a limited number of student scholarships for the CFA Program each year.

The BBA in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance and Banking covers three broad areas of financial decision making: investments, financial institutions, and corporate finance. The program equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to successfully analyze and solve problems encountered in a finance-centered career. Stamford’s dedicated Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab gives students access to Bloomberg’s market-leading platform, empowering students with real-world economic and financial information.
The program also has a tie-up with Maybank Kim Eng (Thailand). This collaboration improves the relevance of the program, giving both faculty and students the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and keep abreast changes in the world of finance. Other benefits of this tie-up include internship placements at Maybank Kim Eng and workshops and seminars from Maybank Kim Eng professionals. The BBA in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance and Banking also gives students the opportunity to earn second degree after one year of study in the U.K. at the University of the West of England or the University of Northampton.
