On February 5, Stamford International University, in collaboration with King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative on personal money management at Sarasas Witaed Nimitmai School, with generous sponsorship from Vantage Markets, a global multi-asset broker committed to supporting financial education and community development.
The workshop was delivered by students from Stamford International University’s Finance and Banking program, currently enrolled in FIN311 Personal Finance, alongside students from the Bachelor of Business Administration (International Program) at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Working collaboratively, the university students led engaging and interactive sessions tailored specifically for high school learners.
The project aimed to establish foundational financial literacy, focusing on practical and essential topics such as budgeting, saving, understanding credit and insurance, and making informed spending decisions. The workshop was highly interactive and used real-life examples to help participants develop practical skills and confidence in managing their personal finances.
Through its sponsorship, Vantage Markets demonstrated its commitment to promoting responsible financial awareness and long-term money management skills among young people, supporting education initiatives that empower the next generation to make informed financial decisions.
Beyond strengthening financial awareness among high school students, the initiative also provided university participants with valuable experience in community engagement and knowledge sharing. Aligned with Thailand’s goal of fostering a financially literate society, this project supports the development of responsible financial habits among young people, preparing them to succeed in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing economic environment.
