Stamford International University joyfully celebrated the Songkran Festival 2026 at its three campuses: Rama 9 Campus, Hua Hin Campus, and Asoke Campus, bringing together students, lecturers, and staff in a vibrant and culturally enriching atmosphere in honor of the Thai New Year.
Each campus hosted a variety of meaningful activities that reflected the essence of Thai traditions, including traditional Thai music, cultural performances, student booths, festive water celebrations, and the respected Rod Nam Dam Hua water blessing ceremony. These activities provided an opportunity for the university community to express respect, gratitude, and well wishes while preserving Thailand’s rich cultural heritage. The events also reflected Stamford’s diverse international community, with performances and participation representing multiple nationalities.

At the Rama 9 Campus in Bangkok, the celebration was further enhanced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Thailand, whose visit highlighted the spirit of international friendship and cultural exchange.

The Songkran Festival 2026 celebrations at Stamford successfully fostered cultural appreciation, unity, and global connection, reinforcing Stamford International University’s identity as a truly international institution.
