Cost
The average cost of a standard apartment room starts at approximately 150 USD per month. All rooms have a private bathroom, air-conditioning and are fully furnished. Sport facilities (swimming pool & fitness gym) are available in some residencies. Electricity and water bills are on top of the basic rent on a monthly basis and average 35 USD per month. Internet service is on average 12 – 14 USD per month. Water vending machines and coin-operated laundry are also available in every residency.
Accommodation Reservation Process
After admission, students have to contact Student Service Hub, which will provide detailed information on the availability and prices of the residences. Students must inform the Student Service Hub about their arrival date and preferred accommodation at least 10 days in advance or no later than the specified due date in the Arrival Form that will be sent to you by a Student Service Hub.
*Please note that Student Service Hub cannot guarantee accommodation to students who give us short notice or have not made a reservation in advance.
Terms of Payment
A two or three-month refundable deposit is normally charged for the first payment. All payments are to be made directly at the apartment on arrival. Please prepare cash in Thai Baht for the first payment (you can exchange the money at the airport at the arrival area). Some apartments require a 1 month reservation deposit which you have to transfer to the apartment directly. Stamford International University will not accept any payment for housing.
