On Tuesday, 19 May 2026, Stamford International University, represented by Dr. Colin Pinto, Assistant President for Academic Affairs and Ms. Yan Chen, Director of Engagement, was deeply honored to be warmly welcomed by Professor Dr. Yang Sheng Chao, President; Professor Dr. Chen Ji Yang, Vice President; Mr. Ma Kun, Director, Department of International Cooperation and Exchange and Mr. Song Yang, Project Coordinator, Department of International Cooperation and Exchange at the Hong He University Campus, Mengzi City, Yunan Province, China.
Dr. Colin and Ms. Wendy we first taken on a tour of the beautiful campus followed by a dialogue between the two institutions and the signing of the MOU. This MOU is the beginning of a relationship that will open doors and opportunities for students and faculty at both institutions to be facilitated through student exchanges, faculty development, curriculum collaboration, and joint research initiatives.
After the signing ceremony, Dr. Colin and Ms. Wendy were led for high level talks between the two institutions on how to avail opportunities that will strengthen the collaboration and relationship between the two partners.
The trip ended by Dr. Colin giving a presentation to the undergraduate students of Hong He University on what programs, at both UG and PG levels, are offered at Stamford. Students at Hong He University showed keen interest in wanting to know more and enquired also about the student exchange process.
