สร้างความมั่นใจด้านภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อความสำเร็จในอนาคต
พลอยไพลิน บัวบาน ศิษย์เก่าจากคณะบริหารธุรกิจบัณฑิต สาขาการเงินและการธนาคาร ปัจจุบันที่ทำงานที่ Cluster Maketing Executive Foodpanda Thailand ได้มาแบ่งปันความรู้และประสบการณ์การเรียนที่มหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติแสตมฟอร์ด ถ้าพูดถึงฟู้ดแพนด้าคือบริการสั่งอาหาร delivery ออนไลน์ ปัจจุบัน ฟู้ดแพนด้าให้บริการครอบคลุมทั่วประเทศไทย เหตุผลในการเลือกสิ่งต่างๆ ในชีวิตของแต่ละคนล้วนแตกต่างกันออกไป พลอยก็เป็นหนึ่งในนั้นที่เลือกสิ่งที่ตนเองชอบและมีความถนัด พลอยจบการศึกษาระดับมัธยมสายวิทย์คณิต ภาคภาษาไทย ซึ่งความรู้ในด้านภาษาอังกฤษนั้นยังไม่ดีเท่าที่ควร เลยอยากที่จะพัฒนาตัวเองในด้านภาษาให้ดีกว่านี้ พลอยได้มองหามหาวิทยาลัยที่สามารถตอบโจทย์ความต้องการได้ทั้งสองอย่าง คือพัฒนาศักยภาพการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษและมีสาขาที่อยากเรียนในระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติแสตมฟอร์ดจึงเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่พลอยเลือกเรียน พลอยเลือกที่นี่เพราะต้องการที่พัฒนาภาษาอังกฤษและสามารถเรียนในสาขาที่อยากเรียนไปพร้อมๆ กันได้ การเรียนการสอนที่นี่เกือบทั้งหมดเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นอาจารย์หรือเพื่อนซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นชาวต่างชาติ จะช่วยให้เราได้ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษทุกวัน และสามารถสื่อสารได้คล่องขึ้น พลอยเลือกที่จะศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาตรีด้านการเงินและการธนาคาร สิ่งที่ทำให้พลอยตัดสินใจเรียนสาขานี้เพราะโดยส่วนตัวชอบการวิเคราะห์สิ่งต่างๆ เช่น วิเคราะห์ตัวเลข การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและการลงุทน ถ้าเราไม่เก่งคณิตศาสตร์เราสามารถเรียนในคณะบริหารธุรกิจได้ ไม่ใช่ปัญหาในการเรียน เนื่องจากคณิตศาสตร์จะเน้นไปที่การคำนวณ การบริหารจะเน้นไปที่การจัดการระบบธุรกิจ ขณะที่เรียนอยู่อาจารย์ผู้สอนได้ให้สิทธิ์นักศึกษาอย่างเต็มที่ในการแสดงความคิดเห็น ทำให้นักศึกษากล้าที่จะพูดและแสดงความคิดเห็นมากขึ้น หลังจากจบการศึกษาพลอยได้ทำงานตรงตามสาขาที่เรียนมา ซึ่งงานที่ทำอยู่คือการวิเคราะห์กึ่งๆการตลาดเพื่อดูงบประมาณการเงิน การวิเคราะห์เชิงตัวเลข รวมถึงการตลาด ตอนนี้ถึงเเม้ว่าพลอยจะจบการศึกษาเเล้ว ยังสามารถติดต่อปรึกษาอาจารย์ผู้สอนได้เสมอ พลอยรู้สึกว่าตัดสินใจถูกมากสำหรับที่ได้เลือกเรียนที่นี่ การศึกษามีความสำคัญมากภาษาอังกฤษก็เช่นกัน สำหรับน้องๆ ที่กำลังจะจบการศึกษาระดับมัธยมปลายและกำลังมองหามหาวิทยาลัยเพื่อศึกษาต่อในระดับปริญญาตรี พลอยอยากให้น้องๆพิจารณามหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติแสตมฟอร์ดเป็นอีกหนึ่งทางเลือกที่ดี เพราะที่นี่ไม่ได้เหมาะสำหรับคนที่เก่งภาษาอังกฤษเท่านั้น
